Solar tile made in Germany
German manufacturer Autarq is selling its solar tiles at a price ranging from €25 to €30 per piece. It claims a PV system built with these products can cover around 70% of household needs.From pv magazine Germany German solar manufacturer Autarq has announced it will ramp up the capacity of its solar tile manufacturing facility in the eastern German city of Prenzlau, where production started in 2018. The company says its products have already been used on 205 rooftops in Germany. The projects range in size from 5 to 8 kW, a spokesperson from Autarq told pv magazine. The price for end customers .

A bilateral discussion was held between the Maldives and Sri Lanka to promote the power sector through climate factors.
This was between Minister of Power and Energy Dallas Alahapperuma and Maldives High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Omar A. Razak.
Discussions focused on generating electricity using solar as well as wind power, targeting the dry climate.

It’s 2007. The failed Copenhagen climate talks are still two years out. Tesla is almost ready to ship its first car to its chairman of the board, Elon Musk. Currently, Arizona requires electric utilities to get 15% of their power from renewable sources by 2025. But Tucson Electric Power has already committed to get 70% of its power from renewable sources by 2035 and Arizona Public Service has promised it will sell 100% carbon-free energy by 2050.
The Arizona Corporation Commission regulates utilities. It is currently considering a measure that would increase the state s standard to 100% carbon-free sources which includes nuclear power by 2050.
At the same time Arizona lawmakers are considering a bill that would limit the power of the ACC to set standards for renewable energy use by utilities.
